Fleet Admiral’s Log Supplemental

On 96097.67 we arrived at Deep Space 9 where we meet up with Captain Nog who was happy we were able to come to his aide and meet some major faction leaders in the the fight against the Hur’q. We met Grand Negas Rom, Kira Nerys and Dr. Julian Bashir. We then proceeded to our summit meeting regarding the situation.

Odo outlined that the Dominion is on the verge of collapse due to Hur’q assaults. Odo stated he has one fleet remaining and needed aid from the Alliance, arguing that once the Dominion falls the Hur’q will turn to the Alpha and Beta Quadrant powers. Many leaders are supportive of this, but J’mpok is not willing to commit the Empire to the conflict.

We were making some headway when the unthinkable happened. The Hur’q found a way into the wormhole!

Working as quickly as we could we reactivated the safety procedures in the pylon while eliminating the Hur’q boarding parties and fended off the remaining Hur’q fleet around DS9.

After defending DS9 we where sent to the Olt System penal moon, Kira and Bashir suggest we investigate the satellite defenses which are found to have been upgraded, but still vulnerable to the technique used by Commander Miles O’Brien during the Dominion war to evacuate the away team previously.

After we distracted the satellites with probes we beamed to the surface with Kira and Bashir to find the Hur’q overrunning the camp and some prisoners escorted us to meet someone named Kai Opaka.

Seems Kira and Opaka know each other based on what i could read from them. After we introduced ourselves and Kira informing of the Hur’q,Opaka reveals that peace was achieved between the two factions with the aid of the Orb of Peace. They agree to cure the prisoners and bring them, and the orb, back to DS9.

We managed to get back to our beam in site before more Hur’q showed up and then proceeded back to DS9.

After we dropped Kai and the Orb off we heading to the Dosi System after meeting a cardassian named Councilor Garak who had information on more Hur’q attacks and and important area to investigate. Once we warped in and defeated the fleet we were exiting the system when Kira picked up a Ferengi distress call from Karemma. Odo seemed very apprehensive and we found that it was Quark sent on an odd “job”.

We warped into Karemma where we found a Female Changeling and her fleet. I could sense telepathically she was standoffish and hiding something about her fleet and her presence around Karemma, but Odo insisted we should be allowed to pass investigate the planet.

We beamed down to the planet and found Quark and freed other survivors, Garak revealed that Quark was conducting a mission for him to retrieve a valuable device that was found on Karemma just a few days prior.

Garak then confronted Odo with the device, revealing that this was of Dominion origin and had a signal identical to the Hur’q. Further analysis, found that there was a similar device on Bajor. Odo confessed that the Hur’q Signalling Devices are used by the Dominion to lure the Hur’q into attacking certain planets. He then stated he lured the Hur’q to Bajor in order to draw the Alliance into supporting the Dominion before it falls.

*On a side note: never thought Captain Kira a violent woman until now*

The Battle of the Hur’q

It has been a grueling few months and the crew and I are in need for a few months of shore leave. Risa sounds wonderful and my husband is wanting to take a trip to his timeline to pick up some last few items and saying goodbye to final ties as we got word that our long time friend Daniel’s is finally going back to his time line and it is an opportunity Clinton won’t have again.

On 95930.77 we received word from Command sending us into the Gamma Quadrant, through the Bajoran Wormhole at Deep Sleep 9…I mean DS9. We were tasked to help capture some Jem’Hadar soldiers. Dukan’Rex who was there to meet us at the jail instructed us to prevent escaping prisoners from reaching the shuttle.

Dukan’Rex: In 2371 Dukan’Rex is found by Quark as a child and later cared for by Doctor Julian Bashir. Odo’s is then charged with care for him once he was identified as Jem’Hadar, given the boy’s natural deference to his species.

Eventually, Benjamin Sisko and Odo allow the boy to flee the station and return to the Dominion before Starfleet arrived to take him back to Earth for more careful study of his species and Ketracel White.

Once we found the Dominion Facility, Dukan’Rex lead us to a Dominion leader Vorta. After speaking with Vorta about the new threat we were introduced to Odo. I read up on his experiences on DS9. He does have a very colorful background based off what others have said. We meet Weyoun again another leader named Loriss.

After a lengthy discussion regarding what the Hur’q are doing in this part of the quadrant. We then agreed to help Odo with his cause.

We spent most of the time after this incident attacking the Hur’q and trying to come up with some kind of defense from the attacks. We did lose a few ships and people along the way, may they be remembered:

Lt. Hicks
Ensign Jackson
Commander Patterson

On Stardate 96015.59 we joined the Dominion fleet in the Idran System. We fought off some Idran Swarmers and proceeded to the Bajorian Wormhole for DS9 when we heard a distress call.

We approached the wormhole and already the fight was on with The Alliance and the Tzenkethi battling the Hur’q We managed to save Fleet Admiral Aarn Tzen-Tarrak before her ship was disabled. We then proceeded to Deep-Throat 9 before the Hur’q could follow us through! Really scary to think that we are just a jump away from this battle.

As part of my final dissertation and thesis for my “Chief Engineer” title, I had to come up with a new schematic and history for the Aldebaran. This was fully endorsed by Starfleet Command because this ship is one of its kind and Starfleet wants to commission more starships like mine in the future.

Here is my oral speech I presented detailing the history and origins of my ship The U.S.S Aldebaran N.C.C-93128-G

Current Status (Active following the events of Stardate: 934053.94)

I present to you, Starfleet Command The Galaxy X-class Starship. From the logs and data retrieved from the I.S.S now U.S.S Aldebaran and this is as well classified as a dreadnought subclass of our Galaxy-class design.

From the logs and data gathered, when this ship was found; The Galaxy class was refitted at the turn of the 25th century, after the collapse of the Khitomer Accords in 2399. Keep in mind this ship is from a Mirror Universe where Starfleet was the Terran Empire and the Klingons where not the aggressive power in the Quadrant and this ship is from the future with technology that has been acquired through out it’s parallel life. As of today we are still analyzing the ship to adapt it’s technology to other ships without much success. As an Admiral I made it a critical fleet ship and is the current Flagship of the formed Temporal Alliance following the Battle of Prycon IV and other temporal battles.

In response to increased hostility with the Klingons, the newly redesigned ship was equipped with a phaser spinal lance, phaser cannons and a cloaking device since the Empire was authorized to develop and implement cloaking technology on selected ships to further aide their dealings with the Vulcan and Romulan neighbors. This ship was not fitted for Stealth as our other abilities have all been tested and proved and upgraded with much success.

Adding the third engine nacelle assembly greatly increased the ship’s speed and it can travel through Slip Stream much faster than our ships today.

By the year 2409, most Galaxy Class starships where fitted with this technology which took years to final develop and complete.

In that same year, vessels of the class were used by the Terran Empire’s Imperial Starfleet to go forward in time to Stardate: 934053.94 and 93474.43 when Admiral Leeta crossed to our time for the Battle of DS9 during the aforementioned Stardate.

Further research of our data from The Aldebaran states when the initial designs where discussed by the Terran Empire, there was a rumor and Captain’s Log of The ISS Enterprise-D being sent to the Devron Sector regarding an anomaly which when the Terrain Empire scanned into the anomaly, they detected three ships in their timeline. This was Stardate: 47988.

All three starships had the same warp energy signature of the USS Enterprise-D. The I.S.S Enterprise was able to download
information from one of the ship’s main computers before the anomaly vanished, there was no traces of the ship. The scans that were taken where then quietly buried as this would indicate a war with no answers or questions as too why?

In closing, I am very grateful for the use of The Aldebaran in further the Federations motto “To Boldly Go Where No One Has Gone Before”. I thank my husband, crew, senior officers, and Starfleet Command for the opportunity to assist The United Federation of Planets.

Please see Archival Records and sensor logs of the Enterprise D encounter in the Devron when it saved the Pastuer and the future of Starfleet Command!

We have not been doing much since we have been briefed on the new Hur’q presence. But Starfleet has promised us we are doing everything possible to make the Federation a presence as well. We have aligned most of the borders with ships from all over the Quadrant and even have has some new dialogue from the Borg. Seems like the Borg are having an issue with them as well.

As part of Starfleet’s continuing effort to explore the galaxy in peace, we are still finding new life and new frontiers. Most of the new worlds we have encountered have know about us, but they are also aware of our experiences with all of our enemies and most are hesitant to join our cause. So being the forefront in new areas of the galaxy, The Aldebaran has been chosen to be the beacon of hope in the trying time.

We went back to Earth for a massive refit and major overhaul of our engines and computer systems. With 8 years of amounting data, trips through time and contact with many races, it was a well needed overhaul.

Including the refit of our ship it was set up in the old style Galaxy Class (Jean-Luc Picard era) interior. We had a ceremony and made the usual rounds. Seems like a wonderful time to be in Starfleet. I remember reading all about the adventures of the Enterprise D. I had models as a kid, had made a mini transporter out of replicated parts. Did a research project and made a holographic model of the bridge. It was like my childhood was looking back at me. I have included some holo-photos of our interior.

It was a great experience and will forever remember the crew of the U.S.S Enterprise D and her adventures.

Starfleet Intelligence has some information that will help is in dealing with this new threat to not just my timeline but many other timelines as well. Starfleet believes the Tzenkethi are attacking Alliance worlds with the new Protomatter Torpedoes we have discovered, which could wipe out an entire planet and population. Starfleet could be seeing a push towards the Sol System from the Tzenkethi if we don’t find a way to stop them.

The Kentari and Lukari governments have begun work on a joint colonial site in the Dranuur system. Starfleet has been assisting both groups on the project, as have other Alliance members. we have been busy the last few weeks assisting in the site.

The Tzenkethi have been active in sectors near Dranuur, and both the Lukari and Kentari have clashed with them in the past. Dranuur itself has little tactical value, but the Tzenkethi are known to carry a grudge.

We’ve spotted several Tzenkethi fleet groups on the move in the Alpha Quadrant. We have been assigned to patrol the area near one of those groups. If they launch a protomatter attack, we do everything we can to stop it.

Having discovered that the Lukari and Kentari are studying Germanium crystals at the Dranuur Colony during our site visit, Captain Parr (Tzenkethi) and her forces, along with Captain Geordi La Forge and Captian Kuumaarke are helping us with the Drantzuli infestation. Out of no where Captain Parr’s commanding officer attacked us from orbit. We finished with what we needed to do and beamed back to our ships just in time. During the attack though, Captain Parr seized command of the lead Tzenkethi vessel, and warned us that the Admiral Aarn (Captain Parr’s commanding officer) will stop at nothing to destroy the Drantzuli.

When Captain Kuumaarke, and General Rodek, disarmed the Protomatter bomb in the Jod’Cor System, Admrial Aarn is now claiming rights to the sector without any cause or reasoning and is attacking Bajor and the surrounding systems. With DS9 a key space station for the Federation, The Alliance, and the rest of the Alpha Quadrant we are ordered to stop Bajor from being the next “Protomatter catastrophe”.

As we were defending DS9 and Bajor and pushing back the Tzenkethi, we started getting strange readings from the surrounding systems, using long range sensors we detected a very very large group of ships coming from the surface.

General Rodek has confirmed that this new faction is called the Hur’q!

Let’s see, from what I remember from my Academy days, back in the 14th Century, they invaded Qo’noS and took the Sword of Kahless. It has since been recovered in 2372 when the Hur’q where pronounced extinct. We even have some artifacts from the Hur’q in the Smithsonian down on Earth.

As well we have data collected from recent Vorgon Tox Utat mission all leading to the return of the Hur’q we completed a few months ago. We just finished analyzing the sensor data and long range area scans.

We also have data received from Rodek and the Klingon High Council, regarding the Fek’Ihri ( Guardian of the Klingon Underworld Grethor) threat we helped resolve, having to do with Hur’q technology.

We fought hard and fast but they just kept warping in. We almost lost DS9, but it seemed we were not all lost. The Dominion, whom we have really not been friends with, have decided to aid in the defense against the Hur’q. Seems an old friend of the Federation is the cause of the assistance. Someone called Odo??

We lost a few ships but our ship is resilient and fast and well armed, seems we are never short of a crisis or two. All for the Final Frontier.

Scientific note: we completed and tested our new Protomatter Field Projector which gives is an instant boost of shields and hull strength by 20%. Compliments of the Alliance and Captain Kuumaarke.

On a personal note…i don’t have to pretend to be someone else. My bio suit had to be configured so I wouldn’t be recognized by any races while trying to fix the timelines.

Was very happy my last mission was a mission I could really be myself. Was interesting to see an older ship from a time long past. The science officer was a very kind man. Very east to have a conversation with because of our telepathy.

Fleet Admiral’s Log: 95548.2

After a year of maintaining radio silence. I am finally able to send out a communication to my family and friends of Earth and Betazed.

I have been doing a internship for Starfleet Command. While I have been away I have done nothing but learn and talk. Thank god for my abilities. It was great for the first 6 month but I was ready to get back to my ship.

My ship has been sent back through time by my friend Daniels since he was influential in giving me my ship and letting me keep it in THIS time, I let him use it to help clear up some of the incursions that have been happening since we found out about Tholians trying to strike the Federation down from a alternate time.

So with the help of Sela, we were able to drive back the Tholians and stop the incursions into our timeline. The only thing I wasn’t prepared for was to finally have closure on what REALLY happened to Sela’s mother Tasha Yar.

I remembered reading about Tasha Yar in The Academy.

In 2344, the Enterprise responded to a distress call from the Klingon outpost on Narendra III, which was under attack by the Romulan Star Empire. When the Enterprise arrived at the outpost, she was engaged by four Romulan Warbirds. The ship suffered major damage to her warp nacelles and external hull, with 125 crew members surviving.

During the firefight, a temporal rift was created.

The severely damaged Enterprise drifted through the rift
in the year 2366, (precisely 22 years, three months and four days) and encountered her successor, the Galaxy-class USS Enterprise-D. The crew discovered that the outpost at Narendra III had been completely destroyed, and a state of war existed between the Klingon Empire and the Federation.

Both crews eventually realized that the current timeline was a result of the Enterprise-C’s absence from the battle, and determined that the Enterprise-C needed to return to their own time through the rift.

While the Enterprise-D assisted in repairs, both ships soon came under attack from the Klingons, and Captain Garrett was subsequently killed.

Lieutenant Natasha Yar, the Enterprise-D’s tactical officer, learned from Guinan that, if the Enterprise-C was successful, in the new timeline that would be created she would die a meaningless death. Not comfortable with that idea, Yar requested and was granted a transfer to the Enterprise-C.

The last surviving senior officer of the Enterprise-C, Lt. Richard Castillo, assumed command of the ship and, under the protection of the Enterprise-D, took her back into the rift to return to 2344. A number of the ship’s crew members, including Yar, were captured by the Romulans and held prisoner. Yar later gave birth to a half-Romulan daughter named Sela.

Back to the present:

We found Sela with the help of Daniels we found find out the alternate version that went into the rift of Tasha was not killed by Sela’s father as originally believed, but incarcerated on a Tal Shiar penal colony in the Pictae System where she lived out her final days. Very sad to learn about one of our own. But I think it has changed Sela in a positive way. I thought I saw Captain Data on the roster to visit our ship’s brig before we return Sela to the Federation for incarceration. We did manage to find a few data pads with data and photos. I did get to see the final resting place of Tasha Yar as well.

I will be formulating a tribute communication to the last few officers whom served with her. Sela has requested only one thing…i have yet to know what that was.

There has been some issues with the newly discovered Lukari and they have discovered some usual activity in there part of of the region.

Seeing how we are the flagship of the fleet and have the ability to use our temporal shielding we went to the Draconis III to see why they are experiencing high level of protomatter. The Lukari think it is another weapon that was used in the past by their kind.

We arrived at the Huranzi System where we met General Rodek and Captain Kuumaarke and studied the moons and the surrounding planet.

Since this was the Lukari’s maiden voyage they didn’t understand they would be seeing the history of their people unfold in a way that was something of a somber homecoming.

To make a long story shorter. We found planet Kentar their original homeworld and they were not able to support the colony they were trying to build. The Lukari were exiled over a century ago.

We then found high levels of protomatter in the one of the barren moons and set a course for the trace trail left by the Tzenkethi who we now know are a force building in this quadrant. Following the traces even further into the system, when we ran into a debris field which was recent.

Turns out it was a battle with someone and the Tzenkethi. We helped out a ship in distress caught in the crossfire which is what we do as Starfleet officers.

General Rodek scanned the ships in the debris field more and got the protomatter bomb location and we set course for the Jod’Cor system where we found more evidence of the bomb. We beamed to the planet and found the bomb. The Tzenkethi fought well but we deactivated the bomb and cleared out the threat.

Once back on board we were welcomed to a fleet of Tzenkethi saying that this space is theirs. I wish our enemies knew just how powerful this ship is.

The commander of the Tzenkethi or course warped out claiming vengeance after his ships were in pieces and his disabled.

Just another day as a Starfleet Admiral.

…but on a serious note, the fact the Tzenkethi have a protomatter bomb which can destroy habitable and evolving worlds is not something to joke about.

This affects the whole Galaxy!

We have sent our findings to Starfleet Intelligence priority Alpha clearance only. Only time will tell what will happen in this situation.

So far we are on the right path.
